"The Monster from The Triangle Region" is a three-episode documentary mini-series that unravels the mysteries surrounding Orlando Sabino, a man initially portrayed as a terrifying serial killer from the Triângulo Mineiro region. The series is guided by journalist Pedro Divino Rosa, who grew up fearing the "Monster" and now seeks to uncover the truth. The investigation reveals that the real monsters might be those who accused and incarcerated Sabino for over 38 years in an asylum, from which he was released shortly before his death in 2013. The series questions the true nature of the events that occurred in the early 1970s, exploring the political and social environment of the time. The extent of Sabino's guilt is left open, challenging the viewer's perceptions.
